Egyptian Pharaoh Nemes Headdress 3D Model
A game-ready reconstruction of the nemes, ancient Egypt's royal headdress. The striped headcloth covered the crown, framed the face with two lappets, and gathered into a braided tail. Reserved for pharaohs, it signified divine kingship, solar power, protection and rebirth.
Seen on Tutankhamun's funerary mask and the Great Sphinx of Giza. Ideal for pharaoh characters, sphinxes, museum and historical reconstructions, and Egyptian-inspired environments.
GEOMETRY
8,016 triangles / 4,021 vertices. Single mesh, single material, two UV sets. Metric scale, centred origin, transforms applied.
RIGGED AND ANIMATED
12-bone armature (11 weighted, 10 animated) driving both lappets and the braided tail, with a seamless 5-second idle loop at 24 fps.

TEXTURES
2048x2048 PNG: base colour, normal, roughness, metallic, ambient occlusion. Metalness/roughness workflow. AO is baked to UV1.

TECHNICAL NOTES
- UV0 carries the colour work; UV1 is a non-overlapping set carrying ambient occlusion and is available for lightmapping.
- GLB carries AO on UV1. FBX and USDZ require importer-specific AO setup using UV1.
- OBJ has only UV0 and cannot use the supplied UV1 AO map without transferring or rebuilding UVs.
- Open edges at the garment opening are intentional. The mesh is a shell and is not watertight, so it is not suitable for 3D printing without thickening.
- Normals are recalculated outward and custom split normals are included.
