OO Gauge 20 Ton Ballast Wagon for Model Railways
This is an OO gauge 20 ton Ballast Wagon model designed to be printed in resin due to the complexity.
I would recommend using Elegoo or Sunlu ABS Like resin for the right balance between detail and strength.
NEM Couplings and wheels are included if you want to use them or alternatively metal wheels and other coupling types could be used if you want to.
If you want the wagon to be smoother running i would recommend purchasing metal wheels and brass bearings as these provide a smoother surface than the 3d printed plastic.
This is based on the Hornby 20 ton Ballast Wagon , transfers are required to complete the model, these can be found on fox transfers.
To add a load to the wagon, I would recommend filling with crushed coal.
There is also a pre supported version of the wagon available
This is based on the 20 ton Ballast Wagon , for information on Liveries and History visit the LSTV Website.
Enjoy
