I'm SP-STUDIO. I make wardrobe and props for DAZ Studio — clothing that keeps its silhouette when the figure moves, and props detailed enough to sit in the foreground. Every product page lists exactly which figures it fits, what's inside the ZIP, and what it does not do. Fit requests and questions are always welcome.

SkinSuit Head Peel-Off Face Mask for Genesis 9
The head half of the SkinSuit idea: a Genesis 9 face mask that wears any character's own skin, and peels off.
Load it onto the figure, run one script, and the mask takes that character's head skin - maps, shader, UV set, all of it. Then change the skin on the figure underneath. The mask keeps the face it copied. One head, two faces: the one the mask is wearing, and the one showing through the gap.
That is what this product is for. The transformation shot. The second skin caught mid-swap. The phantom-thief reveal where the disguise comes away in one piece and there is somebody else underneath. Six sculpted stages peel the mask off, each with a matching hand pose, from fully worn, to hanging off the chin, to lifted clear of the head.
ONE-CLICK SKIN MATCHING
"3-Copy Skin" reads the Genesis 9 figure the mask is fitted to and copies that character's head skin onto the mask, then onto its geoshell. It handles cross-shader copies properly: if the figure runs PBRSkin and the mask runs Iray Uber, the shader is switched and the surface reset before the copy, so you never end up with half-applied textures bleeding through from the previous skin. UV sets are resolved by name rather than by index, so nothing lands on the wrong UV.
Nothing is baked. Run it again after you change the character and the mask updates. Do not run it, and the mask keeps the old face - which is the entire trick.
There are no texture maps in this product at all. The whole download is under 4 MB, because the mask borrows your character's.
WHAT YOU GET
- Genesis 9 conforming face mask with its own bones, plus a matching geoshell
- 9 morph dials, every one with a preview icon: Wearing 01 to Wearing 05, Wearing 01 Pinch, Hang, Hang 2, Expand All
- 12 presets in the Pose folder. Each peel stage ships twice: once as the hand pose on its own, and once as a one-click script that sets the pose and the morph together and zeroes the other stages first
- 2 corrective mouth morphs that run automatically, driven by the figure's jaw
- 5 workflow scripts: select the figure, load the mask already fitted, select the mask, copy the skin, and clone the figure's eyelashes onto the mask
- A printable Read Me PDF and an illustrated HTML guide
- Every script, preset and morph carries its own preview icon, so nothing in the folder is a guess
NO LIP STICKING
The two mouth correctives are ERC-linked to Jaw Open and Jaw Open Wide, so the mask's lips separate when the character opens their mouth. There is nothing to dial and nothing to remember, and it keeps working when you swap character.
EYELASHES AND BROWS
Genesis 9 carries eyelashes, tear film and brow cards on the figure rather than in the skin, so with a mask over the face they are either buried under it or poking through it. "4-Copy Face Details" clones them onto the mask and hides the originals, so the mask blinks with its own lashes.
HOW TO USE
0 - Select G9: picks the base figure. If several are in the scene it asks which one.
1 - Load Suit: loads the mask, already fitted, with its shell.
2 - Select Suit: selects the mask, so you do not have to hunt for it in a busy Scene tab.
3 - Copy Skin: copies the character's head skin and shader onto it.
4 - Copy Face Details: optional, for the lashes and brows.
ONE STAGE AT A TIME
The five Wearing morphs are each a complete shape, not increments. Dial two at once and you get something that belongs to neither, with no warning. Set the morph before you pose the figure, not after. If a mesh folds into itself, zero the morph, zero the pose, and dial it in again - nothing is permanently damaged.
The pose presets that end in "+ Mask" do all of this for you in one click, and those are the ones to reach for. The plain .duf poses are the hand alone; for those, select Genesis 9 first - the figure, not the mask, because the mask has shoulder bones of its own.
REQUIREMENTS
Genesis 9 Starter Essentials. Nothing else - there are no third-party dependencies, and no textures to install.
Built and tested in DAZ Studio 6. Works well on DAZ Studio 4.xx.
Genesis 9 only. Autofit to other figures is untested.
Rendered in Iray.
Figures, hair, clothing and environments shown in the promo images are not included.
Questions: message me through RenderHub. I answer fit and installation questions.
