Functional Blinds Props
I dunno about you folks, but I personally got a little tired of having blinds in my Daz environments that didn't do anything, forcing me to remove them entirely and figure out a different solution so I could have a little control over what I think is a somewhat important aspect of lighting and environments in general.
So here are two deceptively-simple yet somewhat robust, fully-functional horizontal and vertical blind props for Daz.
Each set of blinds includes morphs that allow you to open and close them rotationally (turns the slats) as well as translationally (up and down/side to side depending on which prop is being used). These morphs on the horizontal blinds also change the lengths of the angle and height cords with the corresponding morphs.
Each prop also includes four material presets - Fabric, Frosted Plastic, Laminated Wood, and Opaque Plastic - as well as a few material zones to provide a little more customization.
The vertical blinds also feature a width morph that makes the entire prop narrower while simultaneously hiding slats as the morph Is applied. Note however that using this morph will require you to manually reposition the slide rod if used in conjunction with the slide open morph.
Each blind's slats are individually rigged, meaning more industrious users can further customize the rotations of their blinds if you are wanting a somewhat ruffled or helter skelter look to them.
