LAPD Police Administration Building 3D Model
The Police Administration Building, also known as the New Parker Center, replaced the original Parker Center in October 2009. The Los Angeles Police Administration Building, short is – (PAB) is a ten floors facility acts as the headquarters of the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) after the old Parker Center was demolished in 2019. The building is located at 100 West 1st Street, Los Angeles, also in the Civic Center, occupying the entire block between Main, Spring, 1st, and 2nd streets, it is situated immediately south of the Los Angeles City Hall. The building has a roof with a helipad and houses various LAPD departments within. The complex consist of a cafe, underground parking, and a 400-seat civic auditorium. The perimeter is lined with green space. Daniel, Mann, Johnson & Mendenhall were the architects of the building.
The 3D building made similar to the original, however; the model is reduced whilst saving the original idea taken from the real building. The base–which has the majority of the green spaces, the cafe and the exterior of the auditorium is 4078 Faces - 2425 Vertices. The 10 story building is 10841 Faces - 6825 Vertices. Both structures are only with exteriors, there were plans to make an interior but due to limited resources most interior models were made from a creative point of view, and not in any way resembles the real world building, except the entrance of the building and the hallway leading to the underground garage parking structure and the first floor offices, as well as the administrators staff and the officers respective elevator lobbies–which are not included in this model, but may be sent on request.
The model was made for a game to save render time and resource whilst keeping the building to resemble the real world equivalent as much as possible.
