T&T-Chaintools V1.0 for DAZ Studio Iray
My dear friends,
today I would like to present you a few tools that seem very inconspicuous, but still offer some features that you do not see at first glance.
Here we are talking about chains, padlocks and carabiners.
Recently I had a discussion with a friend that it is somehow disturbing that chains are always fixed to the rings or devices on many commercial tools without using a padlock or carabiner. In my eyes this does not correspond to reality and for this reason I have developed the T&T-padlock and the T&T-carabiner, which I gladly make available to you.
- The T&T-carabiner:
This carabiner has morphs to open and close the carabiner.
The join points are set so that the carabiner can be easily joined to other anchor points or combined into chains.
- The T&T-padlock:
Also the padlock has some morphs with which the key can be shown, the padlock can be opened or the logo can be hidden. Also here I made sure that the join point is set realistically.
- The T&T-chain:
Most effort went into the T&T-chain to make it stand out from many others. The T&T-chain was designed to be as realistic as possible and each chain link also has a weld point. The chain consists of 32 chain links and can be extended as desired.
By means of morph the chain thickness can be varied. The movement of the chain links can be controlled individually for the single links as well as via the Easy Pose parameters, which are available for every chain link. For the movement of the chain links I also paid attention to realism and the links are not simply bent during bends but these follow the natural displacements.
And last but not least, I have provided you with 2 presets with carabiners and padlocks, which should make handling the chain even easier.
- The Installation:
Unzip the zip file to a temporary folder. Copy the data and props folders in the unzipped folder and paste them into your DAZ - "My Library" folder. You will find the tools in your Content Library
at: … / My Library / Props / T&T Products.
