Wooden Chess 3D Model
Wooden Chess Board
A 3D wooden chessboard model featuring a classic checkered pattern with finely detailed, polished wood textures. The model showcases realistic depth and craftsmanship, highlighting the contrasting light and dark squares. Perfect for digital chess games, animations, or decorative renders.
Vertices and Polygons
Subdivision Level 0: Vertices: 51382 Polygons: 51324
Subdivision Level 1: Vertices: 203714 Plygons: 203648
Subdivision Level 2: Vertices: 813026 Plygons: 812960
Subdivision Level 3: Vertices: 3250274 Plygons: 3250208
Textures and Material:
I choose not to use PBR textures because I created a procedural material. With procedural shading, I have greater control over the material's appearance compared to traditional PBR textures.
Why i use Procedural Materials:
Easily tweak parameters to achieve the desired look without needing to modify or create new textures.
Generate seamless, high-resolution details dynamically, which can be more efficient than managing large texture maps.
Reduce storage requirements since procedural materials are often generated mathematically rather than stored as image files.
Create more adaptable materials that can respond to changes in lighting or other scene parameters dynamically.
