Egypticus Spinosaur 3D Model
THIS MODEL WORKS FROM VERSION 2017 OF 3DS MAX TO INFINITE!
The real detailed and animatable Jurassic Park III Spinosaur.
A GREAT CREATION.
This is the clone of Jurassic Park s Spino created from root in 3ds max. It took some observation and a lot of work to do it. It is animatable in 3dsmax at least. You can look for my other models in my "virtual creator and creature" link.
The model is quite well done, one of the best I ve made. This is the model of the greatest superpredator that ever lived, or so they say. Forget the 4 tons idea. An 8 foot Spinosaur skull was found in 2000 in Africa and it wasn t even from an adult. Jack Horner says that the biggest Spinosaur should have weighed up to 15 tons and have a length of 65 feet. This isn t made up. You can search it on the net. So you see, the huge 13 ton Spinosaur in Jurassic Park is not far from reality.
Poor T. Rex...
(BUT... it now seems that spinosaur was marine and had very short legs... we can always pretend...)
I hope you enjoy it!
NOTE: FBX file is animated.
NOTE: THE OBJ FORMAT IS NOT RIGGED OR ANIMATED.
Diffuse and bump maps included in obj.
Mapping coordinates all saved, but materials no, because of the OBJ format, so you ll need to apply the included and named texture maps to the main body, teeth, tongue, eyes and eye-lids.
Levels of specular and glossiness should be adjusted.
Smoothness should be applied to entire mesh if hard faces appear after importing.
