AIM-9L Sidewinder Missile with Optional LAU-105 Launch Rail
This is my extreme detailed 3D Print-Ready replica of the AIM-9L Sidewinder Missile. Every effort was made to include EVERY possible detail as accurate as possible. Entire rear wing assembly is rendered from real AIM-9L parts. This model is extremely accurate and ridiculously det
There are over 100 printable parts and more than 300 fasteners. Fastener rendered files are included but you can use real fasteners for a more realistic look. The live models I build look so realistic because I use as many separate parts as possible.
A complete fastener and hardware list is included so you don't have to go crazy trying to figure out what you need or where to get it. The list I provide has all real U.S. Military Mil-Spec Standard Fastener part numbers, but you can substitute with hardware store fasteners. Most fasteners have McMaster Carr or Amazon parts numbers. eBay is also a good place to source hardware. This can be used to directly order parts or as a reference of what substitutes to order.
The LAU-105 Launch Rail is rendered from a real LAU-105 I own. It is extremely accurate. The AIM-9L will attach to the LAU-105

⚠ IMPORTANT:
A full-scale AIM-9L Sidewinder replica I built for a customer from one of my 3D Digital Renders was jokingly listed for sale on the customers company website. The listing appeared so realistic that two FBI Agents were dispatched from Langley, Virginia and flown to California to investigate my customer. After inspection, they confirmed it was just a non-functional display piece—and had a good laugh.
To avoid confusion or legal headaches, do not misrepresent your finished builds as real weapons. Always disclose they are replicas.
