SceneAgent MCP Plugin Edition for DAZ Studio 6
One plugin file connects your AI assistant to DAZ Studio 6. 120 tools, every change undoable, no scripts executed.
The same assistant as SceneAgent MCP Pro, with nothing around it. One plugin file goes into your DAZ Studio 6 plugins folder, and your AI client connects to it directly.
Ask for a figure and it searches your own installed library, loads it and fits the clothing. Ask for a camera angle, lighting, a surface change, a pose, an animation or a render, and it does that too — then captures the viewport, looks at the result, and corrects itself.
WHAT IT CAN REACH
Figures and props from your content library. Poses, bone by bone or a whole figure at once. Cameras and lights. Surfaces, textures and morphs. The timeline, including writing a whole animation in one pass. The renderer and its settings. 120 tools in total — the same names and behaviour as the Pro edition, verified edition against edition on every release.
WHY IT IS SAFE TO POINT AT A REAL SCENE
It cannot run code. Every action comes from a fixed list of allowed operations, each classified read-only, reversible or destructive, and destructive ones require explicit confirmation. Every operation is grouped into exactly one undo entry.
The plugin serves the connection itself, on your own machine only, behind an access token — and it stays switched off until you start it in the pane. Installing the plugin opens nothing. No content is downloaded or generated.
SETTING IT UP
Copy the plugin into your plugins folder and restart DAZ Studio. Open Window > Panes > SceneAgent MCP, press Start, then press Copy MCP client config and paste that into your AI client. The manual covers clients that use a different configuration format.
IF YOU WANT MORE THAN THE PLUGIN
The Pro edition adds a launcher, one-click setup for supported AI clients and a signed installer. This edition is the plugin on its own.
