New RenderHub Gallery Features and Improvements

Article by Ion Hatzithomas
You may have noticed some changes to the RenderHub Gallery in the past few months. That's because we have been working hard to bring you improvements and new features to make the gallery even more awesome! Our gallery has always been a place for artists to showcase their talent, share ideas and show support for each other's work. Now you can take advantage of all the great new features we have rolled out. And by the way, thanks for all the great feedback, without you we couldn't do what we do.
1. Upload Multiple Images to a Gallery Post
This was one of the most requested features we were getting from our users. No longer do your gallery posts have to be a single lonely image. Now you can post up to six additional images for a total of seven, giving you the ability to show multiple views of your work. This is especially useful if you want to include a work in progress series or illustrate a concept using different angles.
2. Include Videos with Your Gallery Post
Yes, you can now also include a video with your gallery post. This has also been a long awaited feature, and now the wait is over. If you are into 3D animation, you can really show off your skill in the gallery. This adds a whole new dimension, because if your renders were amazing before, the videos are going to be to be mind blowing!
3. Software You Used for Your Artwork
Doing 3D is not easy, and doing it well is even harder. We think it is important for people to know how talented and skilled our users are. Now you can showcase your ability by including what software was used when creating your artwork. This gets displayed along side your work in the "Software Used" subsection. Let the world know how talented you are!
4. The RocketBoost Award
You can finally spread the love with our first ever gallery award. Anyone can give the RocketBoost Award to anyone else's gallery post. Not only is this a way to recognize your peers, but the award gives that post a boost in the main gallery page. So you are also helping by giving the artwork more visibility. This is really a great way to recognize your favorite artists.
5. Sticky Sort Menu on the Main Gallery Page
You might have noticed the "sticky menu" floating at the bottom of the main gallery page. This gives you easy access to page sorting by keeping it right at your fingertips. No more having to scroll all the way back to the top. We think this little improvement is going to make the gallery easier and more fun to browse.
6. New Gallery View: Artists You Follow
This is another great new feature for the gallery. Now you can click the "Following" option to see a gallery of work just from those that you follow. Now you can stay up to date with the latest from the artists that are most important to you.
7. Improved Speed for Loading Gallery Pages
And finally, we did some turbo charging on the back end, so you should notice gallery pages loading faster than ever! This was an important improvement, because no one likes to wait.
So what are you waiting for? Go check out the new and improved RenderHub Gallery.
