Alenia C-27A Italy 3D Model
This model is built very near to scale based on actual general dimensions. It has plenty of exterior detail and is fully textured. The propellers, flaps, ailerons, elevator, rudder, landing gear and doors are animateable. It is available in 13 formats and is also available in a number of versions representative of some of the countries who are flying or have flown the aircraft.
The C-27 Spartan was flown by many military around the world. It has been active in combat during the Falklands War and the most recent Afghanistan War.
Originally designed to meet a NATO requirement and was ordered by the Italian Air Force in the late 1960s. It first entered service in the late 1970s. It is a high wing, twin-engine, turbo-prop powered, STOL, Cargo aircraft. It is capable of many aerobatic maneuvers including loops. In addition it can carry a large amount of cargo, paratroopers or soldiers moving from one location to another in a combat zone. Some of these aircraft have been decommissioned and sold to private corporations for cargo transports.
