McDonnell Douglas MD87 Erickson Fire Fighters 3D Model
This high poly model is build very near to scale and is within a couple of percent of the actual dimensions. It has a detailed exterior including radio antennas and pitot tubes. Landing gear have been finished with a moderate amount of detail too. The model is fully textured and comes with all materials and textures as shown here. In addition this model comes with animateable ailerons, flaps, elevators, rudder, landing gear, landing gear doors and propellers. MD-87 was a shorter fuselage variant of the MD-80s class jet commercial airliners. It was designed to carry 139 passengers. The aircraft had two auxiliary tanks giving it a range of 2900 nmi. These aircraft were number designated for the year they were to enter service and did in fact enter service in Nov 1987. They were in production from 1987 until 1992. The MD-87 was the last variant to be fitted with analog instruments in the cockpit.
