Dear RenderHub Community,
We appreciate all of your contributions and the open discussions that take place on our platform. We understand that the issues raised in recent forum threads have sparked strong opinions and debate. However, after reviewing the situation, we have made the decision to close these threads, as they have devolved from a constructive discussion into a space where personal attacks, threats, and unnecessary hostility have taken precedence.
At RenderHub, we value free expression and encourage a diversity of thought. However, we also have a responsibility to ensure that our platform remains a respectful and safe environment for all users. To achieve this, it is crucial that we enforce our Terms of Use consistently and fairly. In particular, we refer to the User Conduct section, which clearly outlines the expectation for respectful and constructive behavior in all discussions and interactions.
Normally, we only remove forum posts that directly violate the Terms of Use. However, in this particular case, the multiple related threads and posts had become unmanageable, with the discussion no longer contributing to a constructive dialogue. We felt that leaving the threads open would only perpetuate further harm and detract from the community we strive to foster.
This is not an act of censorship, but rather a necessary step to uphold the standards that allow for a positive and welcoming atmosphere on RenderHub. We ask that all users respect the Terms of Use and approach discussions with respect and civility.
We encourage everyone to continue contributing to RenderHub in a manner that fosters creativity, collaboration, and mutual respect. Our team is here to ensure that the community remains a place where all voices can be heard, as long as they are shared in a constructive and respectful way.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Best regards,
The RenderHub Team

Same, I agree, I absolutely do. But unless RenderHub address the design of the "REPORT" and "IGNORE" functions, then the trolls will continue to abuse the intended functionality in order to dictate, harrass, and incite other members.

Hello
well, I've tried to close the thread several times and I wrote that to you. I asked you two days ago, when all calmed down, to close the thread and it was still open til today.
So no, I don't have a problem with it.
Thank you

Hopefully we can go back to supporting who and what we like and maintaining the vibe this place is supposed to have.

In the days since our original post, we have received reports of new forum activity that again crosses the line. Specifically, we've observed members calling out others by name in what appears to be an attempt to provoke a retaliatory action. This kind of targeted provocation is disruptive and not in line with the expectations we set for respectful behavior. As a result, some recent forum posts have been removed.
We want to remind everyone to review the User Conduct section of the RenderHub Terms of Use. Users will not use the RenderHub community for any activity that affects the normal operations of the community. Personal attacks, harassment, and attempts to incite conflict are not acceptable here.
Please keep your contributions constructive and respectful. Further violations may result in additional posts being removed and accounts being restricted.

That is the last time you erase a valid complaint and comment of mine, without legal recourse.

Wed, Apr 16Keep up the great work RenderHub! It's good to have a firm stance in place as the community grows.

Unfortunately, recent forum activity has prompted the need for us to make our policies absolutely clear. In particular:
Calling out other users by name in what appears to be an attempt to provoke a retaliatory action is not acceptable at RenderHub. This kind of targeted provocation is disruptive and not in line with the expectations we set for respectful behavior.

Tue, Apr 22Sounds like a common sense way to conduct one
s self on a forum to be honest.
s self on a forum to be honest.
I'm getting flashbacks from the DAZ forums.......
I agree that the forums should be policed, however I am strongly against policing by the company. I've already been down that road and it never ends well.
The truth isn't popular, and neither am I.

Sat, May 03We actually do not "police" the forums at all. We only respond to reports by community members and take action as needed.

Thu, May 08@renderhub-admin-1, there's nobody from the website's team watching the forums at least 1 time per week? I mean, i agree that nobody likes someone watching if their posts are "correct" all the time but if there's nobody looking at them, that's also a problem.
For example, some hours ago i made a commentary with my animation on a post (even with censorship), and not even 20 minutes later i got a message saying that my message was reported and the comment deleted. But there's posts of 10 days ago showing sex animations here on the forum, even a full post dedicated on them even without censorship and they are there just fine. That's just because nobody reported it? Because if that's true, that's a problem..... for example, if i don't like a person, i can target them and can keep my eyes on each one of their comments just to report to you guys while there's other people doing the same thing and they don't get their comments deleted.

I love how Renderhub care about the vendors and buyers both and work hard to make ecosystem on this website better and better.. Thanks a lot for it. Thank you.

I go by two simple rules while online; never take anything said personally, *(Particularly when it's meant to be personal)* while dealing with conflict through objectivity, as everyone *(including myself)* should always take full responsibility for everything that they say and do online, if everyone did that, there would be no more issues…
Objectivity is indeed a super-power, it's insanely freeing, as you are no longer bound by other's issues/rage/hatred as such negativity lingers far longer than the argument itself, ruining one's day, but if you are truly objective and non-committal to the negative hatred thrown your way, it will *not* be you that walks away mad!
But unfortunately the extreme opposite commonly occurs, as the vast majority of people online are the polar opposite of those two rules, which is why I follow them myself, and it's why for my part, the last thing I want to do is become the very thing that I hate to see in others; as 90% of all flame wars are due to people taking everything said as a personal attack, and bullshitting their way through an argument, while not taking any responsibility for their part in the conflict.
