It appears that ShareCG.com is gone and visitors are being encouraged to come here instead. Awesome because this has become my main site to buy DAZ stuff from mainly because new stuff is still being offered for G8!
I'm looking for a particular artist / developer and I hope that he or she has come over here. This developer has created Genesis, Genesis 2 and Genesis 3 models of David Duchovny (Fox Mulder from the X-Files) ...

Yes that vendor was called "dumbuser". At least that's the vendor of the G3M David that I have in my library, from ShareCG.
Dumbuser has an account on Renderostity, with only a few items. But you could perhaps send dumbuser a note there. Perhaps they have the means to convert their G3M to G8M for you. Otherwise, you could investigate the products and/or workflow for transferring the G3M morph to G8M. I myself purchased such a product for G3F to G8F, but not the male version - yet.

Wed, Apr 23I'm not sure. But I suspect you can use the same skin shader. This Daz store catalog page states:
"Genesis 8 Male can already wear any skin that uses the Genesis 3 Male Base UV Set."
