Buyers beware, make sure the store you buy from is legit, check for inconsistent renders, products and descriptions.

Regardless of Mousso giving them a copyright notice or not, when it's obvious like in this case it has to be taken down. Allowing such things on platform won't do good for renderhub's overall image.

Sun, Jun 08yeah this is pretty cut and dried, shouldn't be allowed when it's this blatant.
It's not just Daz/Poser content either. I've seen a good selection of free 3D items from Blendswap and Sketchup sites being sold here. Nothing happens until the original author screams at RH. I make it a habit to check many 3D architectural items for availability elsewhere then let the original creator know about it. Even that well known pirate site is laughing at RH. I love this place but it needs to get it's shit together and check new sellers.

A clear violation like this must be acted on immediately. Send a note to mousso at DAZ forums, with the links then they can quickly do the paper work.

What is the rule here? Because there's another artist here selling freebies from Smutba.se which they themselves are actually rips of Daz originals and Soto's The Maxx for G8 but selling them as blender assets

Sun, Jun 08It's funny but I'm sure that many of these thieves are relatively new to the 3D-verse and don't realize that many of us have been playing with this stuff for decades, work in many different platforms and browse many/most of the vendor's and broker's sites daily. Then there's all the discord servers we inhabit and where we share our knowledge. I'm mostly interested in architecture these days and see so much theft occurring. There must be a million pirate sites based in Asia and Russia that try to make a buck off of truly crappy rips from commercial and industrial manufacturers.
