This morning I had the idea (don't ask me where it came from) to challenge you a little and get you out of your comfort zone. Nasty? Maybe - but you can start a challenge yourself. For example, I would have real problems with the topic of " SciFi "
The rules are very simple - NNT:
NO AI
Neither generated, nor enhanced. It's about you - not the machine
NO POST PROC
Only scaling, cropping and, if necessary, some contrast enhancement
T is for TYPOGRAPHY
This means that your artwork should have something to do with typography or contain typography. In the simplest case, this would be a typeface in an environment (imagine a 3D bakery from the outside). But that might be a bit boring ....
Is typography without post proc even possible? It is ... and this is exactly where my challenge begins
Duration: no matter - as long as we have fun
Winnings: Likes, Rockets, Comments, Feedback ... what could be better and more fun
Publish: in the gallery ... and maybe a link (not the picture!) here.
I'm not at my desk at the moment - but I'll post an example this afternoon (in case I've thought of something by then

OK, here is a small - almost too quickly done - example, as the lighting would have needed a few more turns. Well - at least it's not a post proc, not an ai ... and contains typography

I wish I had this people pose alphabet:
https://www.renderosity.com/marketplace/products/116369/alphabet-action
It would make it much easier to do another translation from 2D to 3D, for this picture here:
https://www.deviantart.com/luqu/art/The-People-782889937
We could fantasize that I actually made that 3D version, and that could be my submission to the contest. But no, that wouldn't count. So it is just a fantasy.

Tue, Jun 17I forgot to mention: I think it's great how you've integrated the " p " into the environment. It certainly wasn't easy. As I said: a really great picture

Tue, Jun 17Thank you so much
It was some twiddling with the letters, the p was my smallest problem *lol*
Put them in place, had to resize them and after that I wanted to use a script, that makes them stand like in a wave. And BANG all was where I started *lol*
There is another letter product at rendo, was thinking about to buy it, but yet not sure about it.

Wed, Jun 18Oh, that's bad
It's always this question, when is it too much, how much can the PC handle.
For that reason I wish my old Alien back, damn, that was a strong machine.
Thanks .... and you're welcome

Sun, Jun 22Well, it can't be because of me, cause I'm no aristocrat, no alcoholic and no artist.
*hmmm* let me think a bit more ....
maybe because he was very often seen in the Moulin Rouge?
and maybe, because there is a worldwide connection between the Can-Can and Moulin Rouge
Naaaa, can't be, there most be a (for me) unknow reason

Sun, Jun 22Moulin Rouge =>Can-can => Toulouse-Lautrec His painting Moulin Rouge
Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec met Van Gogh during classes at Fernand Cormon's studio. It is even said that Toulouse-Lautrec and Gauguin, who spent their nights at the Café Le Tambourin, introduced him to absinthe.
Other regular drinkers of the green fairy (green fairy=absinthe) include the brothers Edmond and Jules de Goncourt, Vincent Van Gogh, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Edgar Degas, Edouard Manet, Auguste Renoir, Marcellin Desboutins and even George Sand.

Sun, Jun 22There may be a translation error since I wanted to describe it as *baclée*, that is to say, to carry out a job or an action quickly and unconscientiously.

Sun, Jun 22Haha ... these are the pitfalls of DeepL and other transistors .... uhhh transformers ... uhhh translators

An easy way to get text into renderings: use any paint program that supports 2K, 4K or 8K image sizes. Write something and save the image.
Create a plane (primitive) in DAZ and use your image as the Base Color. Turn down glossiness. Et voila
From this point it is easy to experiment: a black and white image can be used as a Cutout Opacity map, for example. White will be shown, black will be hidden. You can also use your image as a Decal map and project it onto a surface or a model. All this is not a post proc ... but rather a pre proc
So that I don't flood my own challenge with more pictures, I have uploaded an example to Deviant Art.
