Hah, I was literally just looking up the exact same thing. I had bought my motherboard specifically because it was Windows 11 ready, followed every step to make sure it was that way, and then still can't install it somehow. Windows 10 will be dead in three months. The only thing keeping me from just jumping to Linux is Daz - I already know I can game on it just fine. From what I've seen, you just have to make sure filament is permanently disabled, but I have no idea how smoothly it runs in Wine.

Tue, Jul 15Just a bit of searching and I find I'm back to Bottles. I'm not ready to give it a try yet, just that time of the year, but when I finally wake up one day and get really pissed at Daz, then I'll install Bazzzite or Unbuntu (because it's supposedly the friendliest to what I wanna do).

If only Daz wasn't such a greedy bunch of CEOs and most probably a bunch of greedy investors... we'd be able to use Vulcan, which is faster and just better than Nvidia... and let's face it, with the new shennanigans, lies, manipulation, and blatant attempts to fool and riipoff the consumer, that company should be tossed in the stocks and repeatedly shamed and humiliated. But, Daz is based in Utah... home of a blend of greed and religion that just makes me furious.
So, linux and ... whatever I find will be tried... good luck proto and post please, if you give it a try and let us know what you discover.
