Unfortunately, there's a lot of negativity going on in other threads.
Some people sure like to complain, but rarely like to recognize RenderHub for the good things.
Do you think we can switch it up a bit? Let's please try to keep this thread on-topic.

I'll start...
1. I like the variety of items available in the marketplace. I rarely shop anywhere else for 3D stuff.
2. I like the straightforward pricing policy at RenderHub. They don't have gimmicks or questionable advertising practices like over at "a certain other big marketplace".
3. I like how friendly most users are. Despite some users' urge to focus on negative things, there are a lot of really nice people here.
4. I like how RenderHub is very community-oriented. The staff is very open to suggestions and is quick to respond to any issues that arise.
There's more, but I'll leave it at that for now.

All the free stuff I find in the market. Not many places besides ShareCG (rip) that has good quality free models.

JohnnyLuck777 said it all for me. I also buy a good selection of non-Daz 3D items, then convert them for use in Studio.
Like that there's no screwy sales gimmicks. Site is fast, easy to navigate and no flashy graphics and bouncing ads vying for one's attention.
It would be nice if they served cookies though.......oh they do?

Mon, Sep 22When I read "cookies," I immediately thought of those files that websites store on our computers, but it also gave me an idea: I'm going to turn off my computer and bake some cupcakes to have with my coffee

The biggest part of our community is nice and the admins are amazing, i love Foxy. I had bad experiences with most 3D stores that i had contact with their support or their admins, but i can't say that i had a single argument with the support here, they are always friendly, very respectful and answer us very quickly. I believe we all can say that Renderhub hears us, they may not accept everything we ask (which is normal and totally fine) but they are listening to us, and they are the only store that I know that when they do a mistake they come here quickly to explain what happened and say "We are sorry for this". They don't sit in a big company chair and watch it from above, they listen, they answer and they help. As a content creator, I never had a problem with my sales or receiving my payment, they always paid when expected and sometimes even earlier, plus, it's easy to open a store here, you don't need to send your portfolio to some rich admin that's also a big artist and pray to God asking to touch their hearts lol, if you want you to sell here you can. That's why even with the problems i had recently, i still love this website.

I appreciate the lack of censorship and the freedom for diverse opinions to be expressed (about products, software, thee good AND the bad things...) . FUCK official forums and it's "moderators".

I agree with most of the previous comments. The site is really very good. Simple registration, simple publication of models, gallery, forum. Everything is implemented at a very high level. I agree that, for the most part, a very good community has gathered on the site. People willingly share their art and leave good feedback. The site's support also works perfectly. I think this is even the best site for starting to sell 3D models in principle, as there is no high entry threshold, and you can start selling even with the simplest models. And you can sell anything in any format, which is not possible everywhere.

I am usually just an observer (not a commenter), sometimes when I am bored, I read through the forums and its pretty insightful. So, yea, the community here is great, never a dull moment. Also, free and very affordable stuff in the marketplace (which was how I signed up to the renderhub in the first place).

Mon, Sep 22Yes, everything! The ease of becoming a seller, the support from the administrators, the lively discussions on the forums, the helpfulness of the community, discovering new musical tastes through the forum, and sharing my own musical preferences... I think I've probably forgotten some things!

Mon, Sep 22I second this and put in the high amount of high quality freebies

First of all, many thanks to JohnnyLuck77710 for this thread. Very relaxing after all the controversies of the last few days.
Actually, everything has already been said - but I'd like to add my two cents. So here are a few fine tunings
FORUM
I love being able to start topics that are outside the norm, and that Renderhub allows such threads. Just look at Bonj's legendary music thread or one of my older threads where I asked about animal voices (sic). Something like that would have been deleted immediately by the admins on other sites.
EXTERNAL WEBSITES
I love that mentioning external websites is not immediately penalized (except, of course, when it is clearly advertising or exploitation of the freedom granted by Renderhub). This is not the case with other websites. For example, one of my projects was rejected by the Canadians, not because it was bad or contained errors (on the contrary, the product was even certified as original and innovative), but simply because the documentation contained the URL of one of my tutorials here on Renderhub.
PUBLISH PRODUCTS
I love Renderhub for how easy it is to publish new products. If you're wondering why, try the Canadians (cgbytes) and see for yourself: there's a world (and centuries) of difference between them.
SUPPORT
Due to recent events (and by that I don't mean the administrators here in the forum, but the " real " support, which you can reach via a link in your profile), here is some brief information: I recently had problems posting a longer tutorial text (it didn't upload). At first, I thought it was a bug, but after a day, I contacted support. The admin really took a lot of time to address my problem, which ultimately culminated in me making the text available for download so that he could view the original. I don't think it would have gone anything like that on any of the other platforms I know.

Don't blame us. Perverted'Otica was registered in a Canadian domain and mail address because of (I'm told) more relaxed censorship laws, but it's owned and run by folks south of the 49th.
And they really did that? That's so shortsighted. I'm gonna have to bitch about it there and get banned...again.

Mon, Sep 22Yep - but we've already talked about that: their house, their rules. So it's not quite as bad... but it's also a good example of the freedom Renderhub grants us. And the next of my products at cgbytes slipped into the shop without any problems

I do like the quality of the art being posted by artists on this site, especially the 3D renders. Top notch. Really like the integration of the cross links for the artist galleries, and the products they used, and the ability to review products and comment on the artworks. All positives.

Mon, Sep 22And I lke being able to comment and rate that same art, and then get notified when the artist responds. All big pluses.
I think my favourite aspect of RenderHub is the design. The design of RenderHub feels a lot cleaner and more accessible than the other places. It's big and chunky which I much prefer to the overly complex, small and fiddly design of the other places. I even prefer the font they use here. I think it's way better than those being used on the other sites.
Another (major) plus is that it doesn't have one of those society-damaging 'Like Button' systems on the forum. I don't know whether such functionality was intentionally kept off the forum through educated awareness of the societal damage they cause, but either way, I'm really pleased that such a system is not present here. The Karma Point system they use is much better.
Website design aside, I've met some really nice, chilled people on here, and I do agree it's nice to be among open-minded people.

I like that RH is not focused on supporting a single product that must be protected at all cost from any honest criticism.
To the point where company "representatives" and unpaid loyalists
begin treating it like a sacred religion
with no need for heretical new ideas ( Renderosity/Poser)
or constantly gaslight a self captive user base into pretending that they are still innovating when in reality they have not in over a decade
(Daz inc).
My biggest gripe here on RH is the forum software itself which needs to get rid of the nonlinear reply system where the post at the bottom your page can be weeks older than some direct reply, made to a specific post, nested up at the top or middle.
Just visit Blenderartist.org
or the Reallusion forums to see what modern functional forum software should be at a minimum.

I just sent a support ticket to the RenderHub team on Sunday night, probably around 2 AM my time, and I woke up to find the ticket already handled. Now, try that anywhere else?

Mon, Sep 22Okay, I will give you one piece of advice. Do not use social media., hi, hi, hi
No, seriously, I am much happier since I quit it all years ago. That might also be why I lurk around here
too often. I must admit that I do get bored sometimes, but I have more time for my children and for my hobbies too.

I'm pretty new here, but there are some HUGE things that already stand out to me.
The community here seems VERY friendly and helpful.
There are some amazing artists in the gallery.
There's a really great variety of products available.
The admins seem to be very nice and helpful.
