And this way a nice Banksy work turned to L'Art informal.
( Is informell art in the original meaning of Lucio Fontana really called " informal " in English? )

But some colleges still refer the the original french term. Depends how old school the teacher is.

I do know who Banksy is, infamous as they say, and incognito, but given he does not have permission to deface the publicly and privately owned walls upon which he plies his craft, this is the necessary end result. Is there a picture of the original image before it was washed and altered?

Sat, Sep 27Yes it's all part of the process of art and protest as you point out. Never sure if I like his work or not, it all depends on the subject matter. This one was about freedom of speech.

Sat, Sep 27Oh my, I can only imagine the fear of getting cut while painting something like this. It does not look half bad at all. How impressive.
