Much of this has to do with certain image manipulation techniques or image content. The discussions here in the forum quickly became very heated and intense. It's all very unfortunate - but we have to respect the artists' decisions ... or the decisions of the people in charge.

Of course it is possible, that people decide to leave because of toxic comments, and disagreement on handling AI content.

No secret "implications" just an observation of objective reality.
If you are a member of a user community based on shared interests, there are always reasons why you might leave such as the communities focus ,tone or ideology no longer is in line with yours.
Or that common interest element such as a
Software (example:Poser)is no longer useful to you and you move on to a community that uses your new software of choice etc .
The internet is vast.
There are subreddits,private facebook groups,
private discords etc.
Life is too short plant your feet and fight with the owners of any one online community over their policy changes.
No secret "implications" just an observation of objective reality.
If you are a member of a user community based on shared interests, there are always reasons why you might leave such as the communities focus ,tone or ideology no longer is in line with yours.

Wed, Oct 29I just read this article this morning and feel that it's quite appropriate to some of the going's on here lately.....

After seeing so much of this in other forums, I'd say that much of it comes from somewhat younger folks who have grown up online and never faced a lot of real life social situations where they would have developed tolerance.
The one situation here started when a new product appeared on the front page. It was darned nasty but most of us looked at it and moved on. Someone, I don't remember who, went ballistic and demanded that it be removed. A few of us posted more reasonable replies and we where immediately branded as psycho-creepy-pedo-scumbags that needed to see a psychiatrist. As someone who's seen a shrink several times following various military deployments (Bosnia was nasty) I thought about it long and hard and kept my mouth shut. Someone else went on about seeing babies next to depictions of rape(?) and demanded that ALL of this stuff be deleted and the artists be banned and turned over to the police and well...I'm sure you all remember it.
A comment that struck me was the first poster saying that he didn't mind THIS porn but was offended by THAT porn. That's intolerance. RenderHub should be applauded for handing the situation well.
