What I want to know first: Wasn't there a recent post here about judging art, creativity and so on in contests? I'm actually very sure of that, I didn't confuse RH with Rendo - but I can't find it. So: Am I wrong? Forgot how to search? Or was there a database problem or something that dragged them into the abyss?
Background: I had a mild concussion last weekend and would like to be able to tell my doctor on Monday that I am (not) hallucinating (if you're one of those who worry easily: nothing bad
).

Perhaps you mean the Horrific 25 Contest (or better: the announcement of the winners). The thread was (in my opinion) very intense and stupid... but now it can't actually be found anymore. So it's not a hallucination - just the disposal of an absolutely dumb thread

Nevertheless, a bit strange. I only know forum policies where it at least says "was administratively removed because the community went crazy".

Mon, Dec 01, 2025That seems to have been all the contests the last year or so. Buncha 200-karma accounts that didn't even have an entry in the contest saltier about the results than anyone who actually submitted something. I used to get excited about them, even if I never stand a chance of winning. Now IF I participate, I really HOPE I don't win, just so I don't have to be the recipient of the bullshit fake outrage.
