I just bought a few items from CGTrader (items that aren't available here) and as I was organizing them I went through my (highly organized) former purchases from everybody over the last few years. Son of a gun if I hadn't already purchased a couple of them a few years ago ( nothing pricey) and many where very similar to stuff I already had.
From now on I'm going to go through all my items BEFORE I put them in my basket, or hit the Buy now button. I'm in the process of sticking copies of the pictures in a categorized directory so that I can browse them quickly.

Well, to be honest, it hasn't happened to me yet (at least not buying the same thing twice), but sometimes I do notice a certain similarity in some of the products I've bought over the years. I could have saved a dime or two (with better organization, but unfortunately I wasn't born to be organized

Thu, Mar 12Just type it in the search bar on top. Their search isn't perfect (who's is?) but it generally returns mostly Daz formatted items. Don't forget that there's a lot of excellent items in other formats that can be easily converted in Blender then imported into Studio. I get a lot of props and architecture that way. It's stuff that Daz or Poser artists don't make. Sometimes the price is ridiculously cheap which makes me wonder if it isn't pirated. I'm assuming that a large broker would have checked. Here's one I bought today for five bucks!...can you believe it?
