You know what would be really, really awesome?? If we could block posts in the forum from users we absolutely have ZERO interest in reading. Opinions are fine, but if I could care less about someone's opinion (especially the people who just cannot let it go or absolutely have to have the last word) I would love the option of just blocking their comment or reply. I'm sure I'm not alone.

Ran away with my old next door neighbor I think. squelch also moved up north but with an old ex girlfriend of mine. It got messy with them picking up my leftovers lol.
We did water cooling way back in the 90's and other techy stuff like design custom race simulators. Doh I wondered off topic again.

Tue, May 19It's fun to have a sense of perspective with technology. On an electronics course in the late 70's we where told about some new 'cellular' technology thing for communication. When the first cell phones hit (remember those huge 'bricks'?) I thought it was neat that something had come from those early experiments and ideas. In the early 80's we where working with a system to share aircraft maintenance data with folks on the opposite coast who where flying the same planes. Now I seem to remember that it was 'Arpanet' or something. While waiting for replies we would play this side scroller game on those early computers. It involved shooting various weapons at the opposing person with the aim of collapsing their sand bunkers.
I gotta look that up...gimme a second.

Maybe reduce the lifetime of a post.. this style of forum doesn't handle really long multithreaded posts anyway.. and some posts keep getting resurrected over and over and over (archive it already).. and if it really is that important someone will ask for the post to be pinned anyway.

Joking aside, I agree. I have very few people blocked, only three at most. All three of them are rude and promoting things that have nothing to do with RenderHub. I don't want them silence, I simply don't want to see their posts or them mine if I decided to block them.

Mon, May 18It's not your fault, chromatopsia, it happens a lot in boys. My girl's hair is blue, and yours is green, but he meant me, not you. 
You can block a user. You go to their profile and there is a "Block User" at the top right. I have no idea what it does, I've never used it. I tend not to block people anywhere.
