Me too, Great Idea we asked for it a while ago if I remember correctly.

Remember waaay back in the good old usenet? You put someone in your kill filter then posted one final *plonk* in reply to their comment. Real pompous, know-it-all jerks where silenced with a series of *plonks*. They where left to scream into the empty void.

Reminds me of the old WizD forum day's way back. wizard designs I think it's still going but pug has moved on.
Ran away with my old next door neighbor I think. squelch also moved up north but with an old ex girlfriend of mine. It got messy with them picking up my leftovers lol.

We did water cooling way back in the 90's and other techy stuff like design custom race simulators. Doh I wondered off topic again.

It's fun to have a sense of perspective with technology. On an electronics course in the late 70's we where told about some new 'cellular' technology thing for communication. When the first cell phones hit (remember those huge 'bricks'?) I thought it was neat that something had come from those early experiments and ideas. In the early 80's we where working with a system to share aircraft maintenance data with folks on the opposite coast who where flying the same planes. Now I seem to remember that it was 'Arpanet' or something. While waiting for replies we would play this side scroller game on those early computers. It involved shooting various weapons at the opposing person with the aim of collapsing their sand bunkers.
I gotta look that up...gimme a second.

Another good idea, but maybe instead of disappearing them just close them like an archive maybe.

I asked for two to be closed as it created fights.

That doesn't block their forum posts, thus the reason I started this thread.

Any idea what it does do then? As I said, I've never used it.

There is already an open feature request to increase the limit. However, I don't know if or when this might be implemented.

I had 3 random comments deleted (one was about Tiramisú) but the AI Jhihadists comment and the countless spam videos and insults (wankers, antifa cultists, low iq's...) are still there

I'm staying here (and I'm happy with that)... and I'm staying out of any discussions where the usual users post about the usual topics without actually being interested in having a discussion

I just ignore them. As soon as I see certain names, I don't even bother to look.

Like a dog in heat, the more you try to shake them off, the more they enjoy it.
