I just noticed that the limits on free downloads have been halved. Interesting. It's not like I just come here for free stuff you know? It feels a bit... off? They don't seem to do announcements here, but still an oddity.

If I had to place a wager it was in response to some mass bot downloading, I doubt any normal user was going to the limit of 10 often. I didn't even know a limit existed, and wouldn't have if they hadn't started doing a countdown from the first one.

I got to the 10 limit once, i was very new so i had a lot of interesting stuff to download.
But after 2 days it was no problem cause i don't go downloading everything i see(too much space).
So i guess for people new or returning, 5 may be a bit limiting at first.
