Beersheba Cavalry Charge (CLOSED)

One of those moments that just passes by.. un-noticed till pointed out.
the attack at Beersheba during WW1 was the last cavalry charge.. ever.
Thousands took part and the Turks were overrun.
The Allies HAD to attack; they were a cavalry unit and the horses needed
water, period. Beersheba had water. To continu thei front, they needed that water.
And so the attack.
Beautifully rendered by for the screen..
A goddam cavalry charge... on film.

I've seen this several times. Sort of a companion to 'Gallipoli' in a way....
