NOTE:
This is a continuation thread of "Firefly / Serenity WIP".

UPDATE:
Construction of the Dining Hall is ongoing and on schedule.
The official name from the blueprints and Serenity movie script is "Dining Room". But it also includes the galley/kitchen and an observation lounge. So perhaps "Dining Hall" is more, uhm, encompassing.

Base structure texturing complete. Now for the tables and chairs, pots and pans...
But I won't be adding those leftover food. Don't they teach in the 'verse to stow everything away during takeoff or landing?

Thu, Sep 10Btw, in case you're wondering. I'm thinking of (at least) 4 more installments:
- Fore hallway (with crew quarters)
- Aft hallway, plus Engine room
- Infirmary, lounge and passenger dorms (these are 3 rooms, so if it gets a little too complex, i might split it into two parts)
- Shuttle interior
These are not without challenges though:
- only Mal's room was shown in detail in the movie or series. Kaylee's was shown in passing. Wash's and Jayne's are basically blank.
- only Inara's shuttle (shuttle#1) gets enough screen time
- passenger dorms weren't shown in the movie, so I'll have to go back to the series
- only one side of the engine room was shown in the movie, and looks way different from the series.
So, yah, got my work cut out for me.

Excellent work, I have purchased the Cargo bay, mess hall (dining hall) and bridge. Please let me know when the hallway, Infirmary and Inara's shuttle will be available. You have literally made a portion of my dreams come true. As you can see by my post back on Jan 29 on Insta, My mess hall rendering with crew - that I had to use a lot of shadow to make up for my short comings, but with your interiors, I will be able to do so much more. I am currently rendering a 3272 frame animation, so I will turn to working on firefly shortly after. Hopefully you shall have the other sections ready by then and once more - thank you

Mon, Sep 21Thanks for your purchase! But i saw that you did not buy the main ship. The interiors share some texture resources with the exterior, so you might be missing some files.
As for the remainder of the ship, i'm working on it, but i hope you're patient, because it may take a while before it gets completed.

Tue, Sep 22I have a main ship - Serenity. I thought for sure that it was yours but, then again, I purchased it a while back. Please provide a link so that I can purchase yours. I am still rendering my project and, as a result, I have not been able to check on the installed firefly parts

Wed, Sep 23If you got the main ship here at Renderhub, then it's probably Shredder's. My 'Mal's boat interiors' would probably not fit Shredder's, but I haven't tested it.

Fri, Sep 25I believe that's the standalone-version of the shuttle.
The default shuttles are loaded automatically (docked) when you load the main ship (Serenity), or the Main Deck.

I thought I'd take a brief pitstop and complete the (long overdue) cargo bay.
Turns out, the Mule is quite a detailed little monster itself. Good thing the movie provided ample screen time to at least get multiple views from all angles.
