Since two principles - or 'red lines' - that are important to me were crossed here within a very short period of time, I have decided to no longer publish as a 3D developer on this platform. The red lines are honesty - or in this case, honest communication - and 'Keep your hands off my work!'
The following applies to both my account and PasahRi's (who, after all, lives with me in a single head... except that he has to live in the basement
There will be no more new products. There will also be no more discounts. The celebration for my 200th project (including 40% off) has been canceled.
I'll still be around in the gallery and on the forum with both of my accounts - which means I'll keep showering you all with likes, comments, and rockets... and probably have a few monologues here and there, too

I'm not shocked to read this news, @Pushee-Ri, but it saddens me nonetheless. I've heard the same from other friends too. I'm worried as well about those whose main source of income came from the now banned content, which never hurt anyone just by existing. I've always been a huge proponent of our existing filtering rules. I remember mentioning that I have children myself, and they use my computer. The filters worked great, so I kept them on 24/7, and it was never a problem.
I've read that some places have already reverted their extreme reactions because of the backlash. I hope Renderhub reverses course as well, and I hope the backlash doesn't hurt too much, because it will end up hurting everyone.

I want to say that I completely understand and I don't blame you. The unconscionable actions of those in charge of this platform continue to amplify and appall me. If it's any comfort, leaving now will probably not affect your earned revenue all that much, since The Purge has driven away so much traffic from this site in general. I've spoken with some vendors whose stores were mostly or partially left intact, and they say the sales on their SFW products have dwindled down to almost nothing anyway.
It's impossible to maintain a business relationship with a broker that could turn on you and obliterate your store literally on a whim if they so please - with no prior warning. Oh, and did you notice that the "So who is leaving" thread has now been deleted as well? I wonder why... oh, that's right. I don't.

May = 9 sales, June = 12 sales, July = 5 sales so far
I mean I've never really sold a lot here, because I do not have time to promote my stuff here, and for whatever reason my stuff is not promoted any more and I'm not normally active in the forums (until very recently of course)
I think one of my best months here was 57 sales (Which is like 1 day at Daz for me), but I averaged around 30ish give or take then it just started getting less and less, I've not even bothered to submit my latest character because my products don't get hardly any views or promotions here, and minus my most recent product, the last 4 did not even make a single sale.
So to those seeing less sales make sure you're promoting your own products, and sending your own traffic

Even though I haven't had that much experience with your work, I'll miss it.
I still have hopes that upsetting so many people at the same time will bring them together and let them set off for new shores - once the rubble has been cleared up, which takes time and effort. That's why it reassures me to read that you'll still be here.

As for the whole "just edit it and mark it as Mature Content" thing, it feels like they're saying, "We screwed you over, but because the community backlash was so strong, here's a so-called solution"—which really isn't a solution at all.

Such a sad state of affairs. RH used to be the more 'Wild West' of Daz cotent. Honestly, some of the stuff I've seen on the market place seemed very...shall we say amateurish, and others seemed to be valued way higher for decent qualities, but still not quite the A-Tier at the primary market-place vendors may be. But, in there, there are a number of amazing vendors with stuff that had a great target here of that in-between.Sorry to see you go, Pushee-Ri/PasahRi.

As a result, the quality of the products in the store does vary... but I really haven't seen a single product that didn't have at least some 'soul' (meaning you could tell it wasn't just cheaply cobbled together).

Will miss your interesting comments, reviews and products of which I know where to buy at least some of them instead. But glad that you'll stick around for comments and visits. Guess that you will not be the last vendor or artist that we will be biding farewell and maybe some reflection will set in with the forces that be about how to treat artists and contributors, even when circumstances demand a change. I have taken a back seat recently and feel a lot better for it. So much work that's not been shown as yet, I'm just building up a new gallery and products to share at a later date.
Stepping back can give you a chance to catch up on projects or re focus on a style. Use it and make something from the change of tide.
