How many more stylized pre-teen characters do we need?
I counted about 12 pre teen characters on the front page of the DAZ Marketplace section alone.
This is supposed to be a SFW portal by now.
This leaves a bad flavor.
Adult items, not welcome, but suggestive pre-teen stuff allowed?!

I already looked at some stuff yesterday: I didn't find anything that was actually suggestive. . . but I did find plenty of poses used that are meant for adult models (and most of those are a bit... hmm, sensual?)
Maybe you could (as Luxe Muse suggested) link to a few examples?

Wed, Aug 12I see the one you are thinking about Pushee, and I believe it's using a pose pack meant for teens (I have it, from the DAZ store). Which, maybe in a swimsuit might give that sensual reaction, but with other clothing in my view are mostly cute.

Maybe I'm just too old to tell the difference between kids and teens? Honestly - sometimes when I'm out on the street, I wonder why the kids (or at least the people I think are kids) are married and pushing strollers incl. babys
And you know what kind of poses I prefer for 3D Kids/Teens: rebellious, loud, and full of energy. That’s why, personally, I find both of the linked pose sets, on the one hand, very (!) tame... and the first one, on the other hand, way too... sensual? definitely not for kids? disturbing?

Wed, Aug 12I see what you mean about the first one. It's probably more the second link. what the one I think you mean was using. Sakuya isn't a teen (the character for which the first link poses were made for) more of a young teen or young adult.

But, this view isn't what I see when I go to the marketplace either. So, I think is more related to your sorting and all those items being on sale.
You have "Best Selling" as your sorting option. I have Newest in mine. The view is totally different. (Although, I realize I have no best selling item )

Wed, Aug 12Yeah, I find that "best selling" tends to stay rather static, I generally use "new" myself. For some reason the sort order defaults to "best selling"

Wed, Aug 12" selling" as the default setting doesn't really surprise me; it's a classic website algorithm tactic—promoting items with the most views and/or the most inbound links. That’s why, on social media, people get trapped in a loop regarding the topics they’ve viewed the most.
Load G8F, load Golden Palace, dial up a kid morph and you now have a pedo's wet dream.
DAZ tried to block this back with Genesis 1 but the DSON system makes it easy to get around, so they stopped selling thier own kids, and left it to the content creators.
The problem is we are getting more and more venders selling characters that are too near the knuckle for my liking.

I don't think regular users like you or me would ever figure that out either.... but real pedophiles don't need this tip. Bejaymac is just describing how, with just a few clicks, those #!##@@#+!!! users can turn something beautiful into something really ugly.

Not an online AI—since those have filters—but a local AI running on a PC with the right packs and a properly written prompt; anything is possible, from a beautiful family scene on the beach to things that make the worst content on Rotica look tame

Standing up for your opinion isn't just the right thing to do - it's also important! And yep - you're right: making sweeping generalizations (like, for example, that all buyers of child models are Pedos (but that was never said here) ) is always wrong and gets us nowhere.
But I believe that, with everything we produce as 3D creators, you must always be aware of the possibility that your work could be misused and be prepared for that. Unfortunately, though, that doesn't bring us any closer to a solution...
The best thing we and all responsible users can do is report such cases in the gallery and in the shop. And if a coordinated effort is needed for the shop, we can coordinate via PM.
