Akula Class - Perimeter Action Group (CLOSED)

THIS JOB HAS BEEN COMPLETED SUCCESSFULLY AND IS NOW CLOSED
Akula Class - Perimeter Action Group

I inadvertently started adding the Akula work I've been doing, to the Akyazi post and noticed the possible confusion issue.

As such, I decided to separate them and give the Akula it's own development history post.

What follows is the material I removed from the original post and after that, any additional material I post as I move along with the project.

I hope you enjoy the work.

Started looking at the actual ships alignment and discovered conflicting issues with the layout of the engineering structure.

Result was a modified lower pylon assembly that shifts the paylod pods forward while drawing them closer to the saucer thereby clearing the core, containment ejection pods in the engineering pod and reducing the overall profile.

I also discovered that I was working with the out of date, Akyazi engine nacelles and as such, upgraded them to the newer tech, Arbiter series.
