Wondering if it would be possible to create a Pink Silky Satin Kimono Robe for DAZ 3D Genesis 3 and 8 females, plus be able to open and close the front.

That's doable. The dForce would allow the knot to slip open with one setting, and keep it closed with another. We've done that with the Ellie May outfit both on the halter top and the shorts (which use a thong tie-up instead of buttons or a zipper). It wouldn't necessarily be a snap to use, however, given the nature of the morphs that would need to be created to deconflict the "crossover" area in front for simulations where it remains closed. Still.. anything is possible.
