Medieval combat truth (CLOSED)

A couple demos of 15th Century fighting techniques I think some of you may enjoy.
This is how battles were actually fought.
for instance... A fully armored knight never hacks with his sword at another armored knight,
instead, its held in both hands for hitting, striking, blocking, trapping, and trying to get the pointy
end in between armor plates.
enjoy

Wed, Nov 29, 2023In fact I'm not really into combat sports, it was more of a suggestion to the readers of the forum, if a person was interested in doing this kind of pose, I'm sure he will find the weapons he needs either in Daz format or in obj format on the site
The weaps are out there... there's a pack of swords and daggers that I use a lot... for Gen 3 but can be used with 8 with a little moving it around after linking to the hand. Context for some of the endpoints in the moves would be missing sometimes unless it was a series of sequential scenes... but, eh.
I'm picky. I did fencing when I was a young idiot in St Louis... I was interested but immediately found it stilted and boring. Too regimented for me at that time, so it goes. I had a ball however in NYC back in the 80s doing Kenpo with a Black, Chinese, Hawaiian instructor.... he was the bomb and Kenpo is imho the best martial art out there.... its just simple, brutal, street fighting with no flash and fantastic fer da body. I would get to Dan Lynch's bar at 4am, clean the bar while the previous night's hangerson and managers continued getting fucked up and open at 8. Leave drunk and fucked at noon and after an hour I'd be sweating and sober... almost and grinning my arse off.
