Hey... I'd just like to give you a little feedback. You really need to re-work the search. It is simply not delivering really helpful results. For example: I search under "Daz Content" for "winter outfit male" sorted by "Best match" and within the result set you can find anything which includes just one of the keywords. The "Echhi outfit for G8F" is the best example: position 5 in the result list but it is a female outfit clearly not for winter. It has simply nothing to do with my search. It's really annoying to try to find something on your website as there is no helpful search.

Google has a little-known command which allows you to limit the search to a website here is the syntax of the query to search for the phrase "winter outfit male" in renderhub
"winter outfit male" site:https://renderhub.com
The result also gives women's clothing
Maybe it comes from the seller who put inappropriate keywords in the list of search tags

Tue, Dec 19, 2023Please understand my feedback right: you pick one example and say "look, Google also shows female clothing"... yes, but Google gives me actually an overall better fitting result as MOST of the result is male and somehow winter related whereas the search here on renderhub gives me actually everything BUT male and winter

There's actually not a lot of content here that fits that search term. I see positions 1-3 are an exact match.
After that, the algorithm has delivered the next best thing - instead of a mostly blank page.
@guy91600 is also correct. The search algorithm can only work with the information the vendors provide.
We try to help the vendors understand the importance of relevant keywords in their title, tags, and descriptions.
We'll keep working hard to improve the search experience. Thank you for your feedback.

Tue, Dec 19, 2023From a seller perspective it might make sense to fill up an empty result with anything hoping that this might be an incentive to buy something else but this usually doesn't work esspecially not in the context of a specific search. But this is not the problem here. It's also not the problem of the information the vendors provide. The "Ecchi Outfiit for G8F" does not have the word "winter" in the description so which information should this vendor provide?
The problem is obviously that the keywords are combined with OR (= show all products with ANY of the keywords) instead of AND (= show all products will ALL of these keywords). It would be an easy fix to create more specific and fitting search result instead just many.

I agree - the displayed results really aren't great for that particular search. But the algorithm did get the top three correct.

Thu, Dec 21, 2023Thank you for your affords... to me a "better" result is not a high number of results by itself. When there are no products / items of the kind I am searching for the search result should reflect this in my opinion. This would be a better search result then a result which lists anything. So yeah, I get what you mean: the lack of "winter outfit male" products / items is a sad result

Thu, Dec 21, 2023something like this... I am sure most users of searches like this combine words with the aim to make the search more precise (which is an argument for an AND connection of the keywords as default) not wider.
