new girl!!!! (CLOSED)
356Hello,
I'm Suga, and I'm new here. I'm actually a real girl (TWAW 4 life, bitches!) and I going to be starting a 4-yr degree program in AI and Data Science come the fall of this year. Also, I'm a hopeless, friendless soyboy coomer degenerate and I'm only trans online, and only ironically.
A little bit about me:
I'm a dead-ass college-credentialed, semi-skilled, fully retarded, full-stack .NET web application developer, stuck in the same dead-end job since roughly 2015. I'm convinced that my current job hasn't really given me any significant skills or bragging rights to put on my resume and pursue a real job in Silicon Valley or New York or Shenzhen, so I'm going to be working on getting an actual university degree, and working intermittently on my own AI hobbies, such as language learning assistants, coding assistants, searching/scraping engines and waifu generators. These are long-term goals that I'll be playing with over 4 years or so. I plan on starting at least one fediverse social site of my own, soon; either a Mastodon or Misskey instance, and eventually putting some Stable Diffusion code snippets on a github account or similar. I'm going to learn a crap-ton of shit about GPUs and GPU computing!
I like E2EE groupchats like Matrix Element, and I am very fond of the unmoderated side of the federated social web, such as poa(dot)st, nicecrew digital, noauthority social, shitposter club and the rest. That is actually how I learned about the gaming mod community. Also I used to be a Kpop stan and took Korean classes online many years ago.
If you're wondering why I'm honestly sharing my career ambitions on a ragey post, it's because I'm very very tired of having and needing separate online personas, and accommodating the demands of reddit-brained HR officers. I'm hoping that this particular social community will be sufficiently tolerant for my zoned-out content as well as facts-and-logic trivia posting. And I'm hoping I can occasionally share some big brain takes with you all.
Right now, my life is a bit of a trainwreck and always has been (due to an emotionally abusive upbringing and very poor health), so eventually I will start occasionally posting motivational content, summarized snippets from self-help books, workout resolutions and the like, either here or elsewhere. I hope to engage with others who are recovering from similar struggles.
And, since I have no friends in real life, I'm guessing I'll eventually score some weed somewhere and just give away some edibles to some random lowlifes at the bus stop. I'll let you know how that goes.
Love ya'll,
Suga

You are going to learn AI, perhaps you can explain to me why when I ask the AI to draw me a sheep with 5 legs I get at best a photo of a sheep (with 4 legs) https: //www.renderhub.com/forum/6800/daz-ai-studio-discussion sometimes a drawing with just the sheep's head. I expected to get much better like for example a "unicorn sheep" the 5th leg instead of the horn. I sincerely have the impression that the AI only shows me what exists. It is true that I did my tests with free websites, which explains the poor quality of the results. It didn't make me want to see more!

Long story short, the answer is that "janus artifacts" (for example a person with two heads) were actually a very common error for AI image makers to produce, and still are. So naturally vendors try very hard to eliminate those from the output. I believe also cropping and zooming is a common censorship technique; "nude girl no panties" is a prompt that will often produce a photographic portrait from the ribcage up. And most AI image makers don't actually understand phrases via the grammatical breakdown, adjectives relating to a particular noun either before it or with a connector word, like how GPT4 would understand it.
For truly bizarre content that actually matches your bizarre specifications, you are better off with using an image-to-image generator, "photo from anime" or "anime from photo" type generators; those are available for free online with some googling. (Also you can build your own from scratch, looking up the SDXL API specs and paying 90 cents an hour for cloud GPU like I do.) Make a crappy MS Paint style image, or just scribble on top of a photograph, and pass it into a photo generator to make what you are looking for.

Forgot to mention that you can also make a digital input prompt image by literally scribbling a sketch physically on pencil and paper and taking a smartphone photo. And one time I bought (for $15) a digital art sketchpad - a touch sensitive USB device with a magnetic stylus - as an impulse buy, even though I've never used it.
Digital art is no joke. Lots of very passionate people, weebs and so forth, who know all the techniques and can make very very detailed images of body physiques and muscle textures and skin tones and hair styles and whatnot. Plus kanji symbols on things like peoples' t-shirts, in-image, or words in speech bubbles and captions, all with nice fonts and legible font sizes.
Most of those creatives are very opinionated against AI images but professionally they have to use it because their employers now expect increased creative output.

Do any of your interests include 3D art, 3D modeling, or anything 3D-related?

Tue, Apr 30, 2024I must have boldly assumed that a site called render hub dot com would be a great place to discuss GPU computing and NVIDIA performance optimization techniques.
Your post on Sat, Apr 27 was about GPU computing and NVIDIA related matters, Giga? Woaw. You could have fooled me. I thought it was all about yourself? As much as I can empathize with anyone going through life struggles, this is plain fishing for sympathy posts. Not the place for it, I'm afraid.
