Bitty Bit Bikini Troubles? (CLOSED)

A discussion had this morning between Bikdingle and I after a message from a customer. If anyone else is having any trouble loading Bitty Bit Bikini please let us know. We take these things very seriously:
"Ok now I'm confused. He referenced an update crashing his Daz. That suggests to me the updated bikini itself which we did way back in 2021. Actually that was before you came onboard, so I did. But he could have been talking about materials which is why I asked. You've released most of those in your store, but I don't know. He contacted C3D so... I dunno. I asked in the messaging board but he hasn't gotten back to us yet.
Since Bitty Bit is our best selling and most popular product by far I think this calls for a complete maintenance release where we go through and apply the lessons learned over the past few years and make the product great again. Our Thursday schedule is out the door this week, there just isn't any way between the Addie update, Fossil Thong Bikini and this little brush fire that we're going to be able to do a reasonable job on any of that. And you're off tomorrow anyway.
So please hold off on uploading anything until we get this cat house under control."

! REPORT
Well we've had it clarified that the problem wasn't with Bitty Bit at all but with some changes to the Daz filament viewport:
"Hi, I've just discovered that Daz's recent changes to the Filament viewport mode are the problem.
The bikini materials load and display fine in Texture viewport mode, but in Filament viewport mode, Daz Studio crashes, i.e. Daz Studio Beta version. Sorry for the inconvenience."
Fortunately we had already completely reworked the item and will be releasing it today as an update. It was due for an upgrade anyway.

Thu, Aug 22, 2024Hello, I already had a similar problem, by pressing Filament Render by mistake, it does not crash but starts to spin indefinitely... Surely it can't swallow the amount of data linked to a particular texture set...
Since Filament doesn't move, I think very few people really use it. Don't worry too much about it.

Thu, Aug 22, 2024I use filament display and Viewport rendering to make my clothing presentation videos (it's much faster than iray rendering).
I haven't had any problems, let's hope it lasts
