Is there any light skin textures in 8k for G8f available?
I mean the actual skin, not normal or bump or displacement textures.

I love melovephotos skin textures but as far as 8k, I've heard of people upscaling from 4k to 8k using photoshop/gimp editing software but I've never tried it so I don't know if it would actually give you the results your looking for.

Photoshop or Gimp will double the size of the jpg file, I think the final rendering of Daz will be exactly the same as with the original file since no details will be added

DoroThee237 is Quite correct and you create bloated file that will consume the VRAM of your GPU alot faster and the final image will still be visually limited to the resolution of the displaying device
....do you have an 8K monitor??

Fri, Nov 01, 2024No, I don't have a 8k monitor, but in case of close ups and even just portraits, there is a visible difference.

This is only the normal map, I think a lot of character producers now make 8k normal but stick with the standard 4k for the skin colour.

Fri, Nov 01, 2024I have already 8k normal maps. It won't help with texture blurs on close ups.
You can always use an AI upscaler to double a 4k map. There's free ones and paid ones out there. I usually use Gigapixel AI (paid).

Thank you for the responses. I was actually looking for some not-upscaled 8k skin texture maps.
Hard to find and hard to tell, if they (in case, I find some) are not just upsacled either.
Upscaled mine my self in PaintShopPro 2023.
