Where is the !iray uber base shader now?
Usually I'd select the material then surface tab/ edit and from the presets menu select the !iray uber base shader.
Convert to iray quick and easy.
Is it not included on the latest build or moved ?
What is the actual product called as I cant find it by name, Is it included on older versions packaged with daz only?.
Maybe Dim didn't install it or it's in a new location. Brand new install so it's not already on my drive .

should reside in Shader Presets\Iray\DAZ Uber\ unless they changed it since I downloaded it. It's part of the "Default Resources for DAZ Studio" download, I think it's found to download on the daz studio installer download page

Sat, Nov 02, 2024it isnt showing in my smart content shader menu for some reason. Added a custom action to the script menu. Cheers deathd

Sat, Nov 02, 2024ah smart content, I avoid that like a plague lol. I am old school and just use the library, or the handy script menu lol. One day, I swear I am going to take the time to make a buncha fancy custom menus for myself with the visual menu product I bought like 3 years ago and never used.......

Sun, Nov 03, 2024I have to admit that my "my library" folder is like my freezer, there are empty bags, I mean that there are missing dsf files, or textures of certain objects which become unusable, without forgetting folder names in English and French which generates duplicates

Indeed, my old pc has directories for daz scattered all over the place, test files , products that never made it to the finish etc
I don't use the smart content menu much but this is a brand new pc and fresh install..
Having a short cut to convert to iray is a must
