It's been 2 years now since my first render upload. It's been quite the 2 years, too. Back then, I finally decided to take that little risk and start uploading renders that I had made over the past several years (beyond a random upload here and here on places like Facebook where I wanted a cover photo or something like that). I was nervous about doing it, too - somebody might finger-wag me over... something. I couldn't come up with a title, I struggled to fill the tag line, and I could just fill the description box with in-house credits, checking a few boxes off with that, as back then direct links to marketplace products weren't a feature yet. A lot of that has pretty much stuck since then.
I thought I would go unnoticed at best - which was fine with me; I'm the loner, so me in my little corner all by myself isn't much of a problem. Instead, I get welcomed with open arms by multiple people, and made a few friends along the way. It's all turned out great so far.

A fine insight - and a wonderful homage to Renderhub, which I gladly join: I love the colorful, non-elitist mess and the cheerful and friendly twittering (birds, not X) here. You won't find that anywhere else.

Mon, Feb 10Yep. It's a nice community we have here. Almost anything goes and people can enjoy what they like, be it fanart, originals, wholesome things, mature things...
Many producers also not being absent suppliers (though some are, and that's fine) is a nice touch too. Even if it started from or grew out of a "Someone used my stuff!" feeling.

From one loner to another, that's great to hear!

Mon, Feb 10It's a been a great 2 years. Bought a bit, got some things you can't buy, and hopefully made an impact here and there.

Mon, Feb 10Also and I have improved my products, I hope to update my previous products, thanks for your renders.
I only discovered this site alittle over a year and a half ago. Think it was Foxy3D that encouraged me to post some of my renders through site mail after I had bought a couple of their items.
Twenty years of Poser/Daz and Renderhub is the only site I have an actual online presence. While I'm not interested in "making art", being able to look at my renders from the "outside in" has really helped in my setup and how I have been lighting my scenes over the last year or so.
Should also say, "Big time Lone wolf" here.

Thu, Feb 13While not 20 years for me (closer to 10), this has been the only Poser/DAZ site where I've had any significant interactions on beyond some occasional forum or Facebook post.
Congratulations!
There are times that I use renders as my therapy!

Fri, Feb 14It can be therapeutic at times, especially when you need to just get away from things and spend time in your own little world.

Fri, Feb 14I get in the zone when I'm inspired to create a character. Everything else melts away.
