I know the subject well from spending a lot of time on one like it.
My time spent on a sail boat was some of the best hours of my life.
From the quiet power of the wind, to the stillness of the early morning.
From the gentle rocking of the waves, to the beautifully open sunsets on the water.
From the rush of racing within inches of other boats, to cruising across the open lake under the stars.
All have made me very grateful for the opportunitys I’ve had to be part of that world.
I have attempted to convey some of those feelings through these images.
If you have not been able to be part of this world hopefully you will feel a small part of what it's like.
If not and you have the opportunity, I encourage you to take advantage of it.
And if there is a yacht club near you there are often members looking for reliable crew.
