This is a scene towards the end of what I originally envisioned as chapter one of my Renascentia series, which I did quite a while ago now but thought it about time I posted it. I will hopefully finish a few more images in this section and start Chapter two at some point, but as per usual other stuff keeps getting in the way. I've recently taken up photography as another hobby and that's demanding a lot of attention at the moment as I'm learning the in and outs of that.

Thanks as always for taking a look at my work, hope you like it.

Superbly detailed and emotional artwork, love the composition and lighting. Good luck with your Photography also, getting the right gear and finding your style with what types of imagery you want to create can be time consuming. smile

Excellent expressive emotions,  and the composition and the poses pay homage  to classic art.

Damn awesome scene! The emotional feeling of tragedy comes through flawlessly.

You should 100% commit to your writing and a full book. For me, the key has been (so far), to take every Wednesday off from my business and do nothing but writing for my project. I've been going since the start of the year and finished all 27 chapters and now on the 5th revision which I believe to be the final one.

Hopefully you can find a specific block of time to carve out for this and treat it like a "job" not a "hobby". The mind switch for me has been the answer. Everyone is different but I know that job is important and hobby always falls to the sideline.

Your story is amazing from what I see and people need to read it, hear it, possibly see it one day in the cinema's or wherever they watch movies.

Wow! Thank you for the kind words, very nice of you to say. To be honest though, I've never felt I have the skills to be a successful writer. My idea was to create a story that would link the images together in a cohesive manner and give myself inspiration for the next one in the series. I look at some of the accompanying narratives now with hindsight and they seem very clunky and badly structured...I'll probably just stick to image creation to be honest, it's what I enjoy the most.

I totally hear you on that point. If you change what you love into something else, it becomes 'work.' A four-letter word. And that is enough to blow up everything that you love about the art.

I felt those things too when I tried to do art for other people. Just wasn't feeling it. Then the depression came in because it wasn't fun anymore.

You know your own heart, so definitely protect it. Keep up the incredible imagery and stories. We love them!
