Cate embodied the real version of Galadriel to me. If you are a hardcore Tolkienite you'll hate it, but if you can watch if like it has absolutely nothing to do with the Tolkien universe then it's OK, minus all the woke crap. They just push that stuff too much. My opinion of course, but I'd rate it 3 out of 10. If you don't mind spoilers you might watch the Critical Drinkers review. Thanks for the advice - can't claim to be a hard core Tolkienite but I read all of the works, even suffering through the tom Bombadil sequence...shame also about the woke-a-doodles messing with everything. I'm all for fairness etc. but deliberately breaking canon to make a political point is silly. Plenty of room to address socio-politics without it.

Small example is one of my own posts - my first full scene, actually - where a gal is setting on the wing on of a BF109E3. The image was made before the vendors removed the national markings from the model to avoid issues from somebody somewhere. It isn't noticeable in that image, but why destroy the model for those doing historical images?

I'll give RoP a try eventually. Netflix didn't entirely ruin 'The Witcher' despite similar practices and at least ostensibly Sapkowski signed off on it...

Yeah it's insane. fanaticism is fanaticism regardless of whose writing the narrative, or tearing down the statues. The minute others try to tell me what to do, what to think, and what to create, my middle finger goes up in salutation.
