More custom changes.
The original boot was someones, thigh high boot. I think maybe for Vicky.
What I did was remove half the height and repair the top, added the zipper to the side then widened the tongue, added the eyelets and lacing then finally adjusted the toe and crown to appear as separate, independent materials.

After looking at the entire boot in design, I now know how this particular item is built so I started thinking... Why not make my own?

So I scrapped out the entire upper portion to start with the sole and tread, deleted the original tread and then working with a pair of swat boots I own (and love), began adding back the tread.
This is what I have so far. It's even got a label.

Next time I pick this back up I'll delete the sole and rebuild it again like my boot. Then I'll rebuild the upper section as well.
