the lighting is very nice Kssam but.. there's no context, nothing in conflict. You need a second .. if for nothing else, to die. But,that's me. smile

I love the lighting.. its gorgeous. You're one of the few who can embrass the darkness and use it as a color.... The rest?pfftt..let them eat 2 dimensional cake

Thanks again for enjoying one of my images. I didn't put any context as this is a single image from a comic I'm writing. All the context is in that story. I don't want any major spoilers out there. Sure, I mentioned she doesn't make it, but it's how and why that would give away the storyline.

I do love the dark undertones of images. They pull out the contrast of the back and side lighting. Many times they can really pull out details otherwise lost in an over saturated image. Details like the veins in her eyes, pours in her skin, moistness on her lips, etc.. In hindsight, I should have had a few veins in neck stand out as if her blood was really pumping as her heart raced towards its end. Perhaps some glistening sweat beginning to drip down the side of her face.

You certainly captured the look of anticipation in this image. Thought not a pleasant look. I just can't get over the lighting on these. It's so colorful for being so dark.
