Weirdos, wackos and nutcases do spread the most bizarre and absurd theories, such as the flat earth bullshit. But weirdos, wackos and nutcases are everywhere. They can not only be found in the inofficial dark corners of the earth. They also can be found in governments and official authorities spreading their bullshit theories in the mass media. The big problem is that people tend to believe bullshit as soon as it's the official opinion. As soon as bullshit is officially spread by media and politicians, people switch off their brains and believe every word, even no matter how illogical, ridiculous and botched it is. They will always believe it as long as it's official. History also shows that.
