Art made to participate in RenderHub's horror contest. I made this scene inspired by masked psychopath films from the 80s. The entire scenario is made to resemble the living room and bedroom of an American family from the 80s and making references to that period through the posters, computer and objects. I used intimate and dark lighting, focusing mainly on the characters' actions. I used 3D Studio Max and Corona Renderer to render the scene. Post-production in Photoshop for color adjustments and lens effects. Characters are from Render People and high-resolution textures from Quixel Megascans. Objects in scene by 3D Sky.
