The idea was to make a very scary scene but with a touch of humor. The idea is of an abandoned cabin in the middle of nowhere inhabited by a ghost. Using the pumpkins, the arm and the bats are meant to add a bit of sarcastic humor to those viewing the scene, and to make reference to Halloween and classic horror film clichés. The setting is realistic with the use of detailed models and high-end textures. Lighting to simulate a full moonlit night along with candle lighting to create a somber atmosphere. I modeled the ghost with a terrifying and "realistic" appearance - do ghosts exist?!! (: -. Models and textures by 3dSky and Quixel Megascans. I used photoshop to adjust colors and lenses and to make aged photography versions.
