I found a book by a digital artist called Jason Engle in an op shop recently and great enjoyed his style. It reminds me a lot of Marc Mcbride who illustrated Deltora Quest (THE books of my childhood), so decided to have a go emulating his art. Might do a few others sometime~

Fun fact, the bloke on the left uses a partially-dialled in pose from Pushee-Ri's Handworx 2 pack again! I'll probably be using it quite a bit, together with the Hands Dial-up product, since I like using bits of them to pose hands quicker, only doing it via bones if necessary.

Another fun fact. I said I wasn't going to do 16:9 anymore because it's too hard to frame. Well, I guess I lied to myself frown

Strength lies in tranquillity. I immediately thought of this when I saw your picture.

Reminds me a bit (not only because of the katana) of films by Akira Kurosawa with his sometimes very long, static shots, which then "explode" at some point smile

Ooh nice quote. I will definitely check out Kurosawa, I've not watched any of his films before, but I was immediately sold when I found out he storyboards his films as literal paintings, how cool haha.
