You might like the Chris Stapleton version (kind of a country ballad maybe).
The cat seems to play double bass (David Allan Coe) may have been a jazz session special =)
Or a reminder of this (maybe in my vision).
The "Town Musicians of Bremen" is a German fairy tale collected by the Brothers Grimm and published in Grimms' Fairy Tales in 1819. It tells the story of four aging domestic animals, who after a lifetime of hard work are neglected and mistreated by their former masters.
The difference is you have cats in as your playing cast =) instead of donkey, rooster and dog, etc.
