Minions is an American animated film that premiered in the summer of 2015. Despicable Me tells the backstory of the minions who served the most terrible villain. But after losing their
owner, they remain in an ice cave. And later, three of them (Kevin, Stuart and Bob) go in search of a new villain, who turns out to be Scarlett Overkill.

It is one of eleven animated films (along with Toy Story: The Great Escape, Frozen, Zootopia, Despicable Me 3, Finding Dory, The Incredibles 2, Toy Story 4, Frozen Heart 2", "The Lion King" (2019) and "Super Mario Bros. at the Movies"), which surpassed the $1 billion box office mark[7]. It is also the 23rd film to achieve this milestone.
