An older image of an original character; I wanted to post something made from a model I purchased here on RenderHub. Good lighting has been difficult to learn, but I was really pleased with how this image turned out. Felt like I'd passed a pretty significant milestone. After 3 years (almost to the day now), I can work on other bits, like composition and how to use the golden ratio, cuz that's a thing and I ent dun it yet.

Thanks to RenderHub, too, for the spot on Art Station for my pink angel. What a treat that is.

Anyways, before I end up ramblin' too much, this is Lucinda Rae, also known as Lucky. When her best friend dies from suicide, all Lucky really wants is to get back to the one place she calls home. With nothing but a backpack and the clothes she wears, she sets out to make the trip back to Tahoe, California on foot. Three-thousand miles is a hell of a hike; she's forced to face herself and her demons. She's also bound to make a few unique friends along the way.

This would turn out to be a good story and looks like it already has. You achieved that dim light in the street nicely. I hope this story ends nicely too : D

The original story ended on a high note. Not sure about the longer version, yet. She follows three characters from state-to-state which may or may not be real - a nod to the original version when she had to find her way home from an alternate universe. I realized I had two stories in one and split them up. Thanks for your kind thoughts, Doc. Appreciate them!
